Project Update May 2026

Alluminous Pty Ltd (“Alluminous” or, the “Company”) continues to make strong progress across technical development, commercialisation and capital markets initiatives. The following update outlines key advancements during the period and upcoming milestones as we transition toward commercial scale.

Patent

Alluminous continues to strengthen its intellectual property position, with patent protection now secured in the United States, in addition to existing coverage across Australia, South Korea, Japan, Canada and Eurasia.

The Company has been granted a US patent by the USPTO for its proprietary high purity alumina (HPA) production process, which applies a novel adaptation of established metallurgical purification techniques and offers the potential for lower energy intensity, improved operating economics, and scalable commercial production compared to conventional processes.

This development supports our strategy to deliver a competitive, scalable HPA solution to support the growing demand across battery, semiconductor and advanced materials markets.

Product Development – C4V Collaboration

The collaboration with C4V is progressing well, with advances in particle engineering and separator coating development.

Recent work has achieved target particle size ranges suitable for lithium-ion battery separator applications, representing an important step towards being ready for product qualification with the lithium battery supply chain.

Coating trials have shown promising results. Slurry systems have been identified, with optimisation nearing completion for coating uniformity, adhesion, and thickness across multiple substrate types.

Pilot Plant & Development Process

Pilot plant work has advanced through the refinement of solvent extraction operating conditions and the incorporation of learnings from prior high throughput testwork. This has led to an improved understanding of practical operating limits, with updated protocols and monitoring approaches being developed ahead of future campaigns.

Work on downstream process improvements continue, with precipitation testwork focused on improving the crystal growth process. Current efforts are focused on optimising temperature, pH and ageing conditions to improve crystal morphology, filterability and washing efficiency, all of which will support product purity and process efficiency.

Marketing Updates

We have supplied our first HPA to a potential customer for testing in a process to grow a “III V” single crystal ceramic semiconductor material. This is a collaborative process to develop a suitable material to optimise the crystal growth process.

Finance

Alluminous has been successful in securing an RCD funding facility. The facility provides early access to anticipated RCD rebates the funding will provide additional support to ongoing development through a non-dilutive funding structure secured against the RCD Rebate expected to be received in September / October this year.
